Privacy & cookies

Updated . Deep PDF is operated by Deep Security. For privacy questions or account access requests, contact Deep Security through its main website.

PDF documents

PDF editing, field detection, English OCR and exports run in your browser. This application does not upload your PDF files, document contents, field values, filenames or signatures to its servers or analytics. Processing uses locally served document libraries. Downloads are saved to your device.

Sign-in and necessary cookies

Google verifies your identity through Deep Security’s identity service. Restricted access requires an approved Google email address. Host-only, Secure, HttpOnly, SameSite cookies protect sign-in state, invitations and your session. Sign-in state and invitation cookies last up to 10 minutes; the PDF session cookie lasts up to 8 hours and server-side expiry or revocation can end access sooner. The separate Deep Security identity service also uses authentication cookies. Public mode, if enabled by the administrator, permits document editing without signing in.

Account and access records

The service stores approved email addresses, invitation delivery/click/activation status, login times and counts of uploaded or modified PDFs. These counts contain no document content and are visible to the administrator, including rolling 30-day activity. SMTP2GO delivers invitation emails. Deep Security retains access and security records for operation and investigation; a fixed automated deletion schedule has not yet been implemented. Contact the administrator to request access removal or review of stored account information.

Website analytics

Vercel hosts the application and provides cookie-free Web Analytics. We measure page views and selected fixed-name interactions such as opening the workspace, trying a sample and completing a PDF export. URLs have query strings and fragments removed. Invitation pages and API endpoints are excluded. No advertising pixels or session replay are installed. Vercel also processes request metadata to deliver and protect the service. See Vercel’s analytics privacy information.

Optional website analytics are disabled when your browser signals Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, or when you turn analytics off below. The choice is stored only in this browser’s local storage. It does not disable necessary authentication or administrator activity records.

Local preferences

Your theme and optional analytics preference may be saved in browser local storage. The application does not save PDF contents there. Clearing site data resets these preferences and may sign you out.

Review and requests

Privacy requirements depend on the audience, purpose and jurisdiction. Any future advertising, replay or additional tracking requires a separate privacy and consent review before release. Necessary security controls remain enabled.
